CleanWipe prompt you with a series questions asking what you want removed from your computer. A window should pop up explaining which applications CleanWipe will remove. Im currently trying to automate an installation package that doesn't have a silent install option and i want the installation process (Installation Mouse Clicks) to be running on the background without activating any window so that users will not disrupt the installation process. To run CleanWipe manually, open C:\Windows\Temp\CleanWipe\app, right-click on RunCleanWipe.bat and choose Run as administrator. To ensure it is, in fact, completely removed including all the virus definitions youll want to remove it with the CleanWipe tool available in Softweb or on the Symantec website. But I understand that Cleanwipe is hard-coded to reboot. Windows 7 select 'Programs and Features' for Windows 10 select 'Add or remove programs' then select Symantec and click uninstall. Im kinda new to Autoit and would just like to ask for your guys' help/opinion. From the command line, RunCleanWipe silent will avoid the prompts to the user. CleanWipe is a utility available from Symantecs tech support that does an excellent job of removing Symantec products.
